If A and B have different volumes, kinetic equi librium is still Obtained between the gases in A and B; and, as before, the concentration of either gas becomes and remains constant throughout the Whole space.

Avogadro's Law states that, at the same tempera ture and pressure, equal volumes of gases contain the same number of molecules. The concentrations Of the gases may thus be stated molecularly. Each gas, then, diffuses through the other until every unit volume throughout the space A B contains the same number of its molecules.
