Progress reports were presented annually during conduct of the study to the Rice Research and Marketing Advisory Committee and its successor, the Grain and Forage Crops Research Advisory Committee.
The authors recognize that technological, price level, and other changes since 1959-62 may have affected the values shown in this report. However, there is no reason to believe that these changes have affected one type of facility more than another. These relative cost comparisons between and among facili ties are as valid today as in 1959-62.
