Tel n'est donc pas le but que poursuivent les maitres de la jeunesse française; l'étude prolongée du grec et du latin n'est, à leurs yeux, qu'un moyen d'ob tenir de tout autres résultats. Il s'agit de faire, non des Savants, mais des hommes du monde, des ingé nieurs, des avocats, des médecins, qui sachent penser et exprimer clairement leurs pensées.
