Offenheit vorzugehen. Vielleicht waren sie nicht im Unrechte, wenn sie ihre Kirche vor den rn1b'erechenbaren Folgen eines Conflictes mit der Staatsgewalt bewahren wollten. Genug, sie stellten die Abfassung der Kirchenordnung ganz als Trubers Werk dar, welches sie, als der Augsburgischen Cenfession, zu der sie sich mit den andern Erblanden schon unter Kaiser Ferdinand bekannt, ganz entsprechend, gebilligt hätten, umsomehr, als dasselbe für den Gebrauch derjenigen, welche keine andere als die windische Sprache verstehen, bestimmt und es niemanden verwehrt sei, gute Bücher in allen Sprachen zu lesen und dieselben aus einer Sprache in die andere zu übertragen. Indem die Stände übrigens die Versicherung inbetreff des angestrebten Religions friedens mit Freude aufnahmen, erklärten sie, dem landesfürstlichen Befehl nachkommen zu wollen, und fügten nur noch das damach wohl überflüssige Erbieten bei, Trubers Kirchenordnung durch gottselige verständige Personen prüfen zu lassen, um zu beweisen, dass sie nichts der Augsburgischen Confession zuwiderlaufendes enthalte.
