Terry Vance, Ph.D., has been a psychotherapist for twenty-eight years. She studied at Carleton College and the University of California at Berkeley and did her graduate work and internship in clinical psychology at Duke University. She is currently the director of Psychology Associates in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where she lives with her husband.
