'An Introduction to Radiation Protection' is a comprehensive account of the nature of the hazards presented by ionizing radiation and the methods of protection. These in conjunction with a number of other important changes, will ensure the continuing value of the text as a comprehensive introduction to this field, and it will remain essential reading for those working in nuclear power, nuclear medicine, and in other industries requiring an involvement with radiation.
