Mr. Guardia was graduated from the Louisiana State Normal in 1903. In 1908 he joined the faculty of the Practice School of the Normal and in 1919 became a member of the regular faculty, with charge, of the work in geography.
Recently he was graduated from the Uni versity of Chicago with departmental honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
