The book was originally published in Ireland, also as a PBO, by King Farouk in 1987. ***A very good copy in colour-illustrated printed card covers. The covers are generally clean, but do have some light creases and indentations, and are a little rubbed at the edges. No reading lean to the binding and no reading creases to the spine. Spine tight. No fading, including the red lettering to the spine, which is hardly faded at all. Top edge of page block slightly marked. No major creases and no tears. Internally also very good with no previous ownership inscriptions. Please note that the indentations have come through to affect the first few pages only (please see scans). No tears. Paper stock tanned as usual. ***197mm x 126mm. 165 pages. ***A first impression of the first UK edition, published as a paperback original, and which is quite scarce now - preceded only by the even scarcer King Farouk paperback first edition published in Dublin, Ireland.
