This clear introduction to the basic concepts of physics covers the key topics required by students in technical programs: mechanics, electricity and magnetism, light and optics, thermodynamics, and modern physics. The book assumes very little math background on the students' part - the necessary math is developed concurrently with the physical concepts. Emphasis is placed on problem-solving and developing a systematic approach to the solving of problems.
