This foundational text on programming the System/360 was written by the Staff of Computer Usage Company, including Rita Z. Altucher, and edited by Ascher Opler. It provides a detailed analysis of data conversions, which is one of its primary strengths. While it covers system-only instructions, the discussion remains broad and does not necessarily align with the way IBM's operating systems were actually implemented. The text approaches these instructions as if the system were neither multiprogramming nor multiprocessing, though IBM OSes were designed for both. The book will be carefully packaged for shipment for protection from the elements. A USPS electronic tracking number will be issued free of charge.
