He received his PhD in engineering with extensive statistics education from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. As a practicing engineer-statistician he has implemented statistical methods in various functions within a company to accelerate development, achieve high quality, and reduce cost. He has taught statistical methods to thousands of industry participants through in-house seminars or seminars sponsored by industry associations such as the Institute of Food Technologists.
