CHARLES R. GOELDNER, PhD, is a Professor of Marketing and Tourism, College of Business, University of Colorado at Boulder, and Editor of the Journal of Travel Research. J. R. BRENT RITCHIE, PhD, holds the Professorship in Tourism Management and is Chair of the World Tourism Education and Research Center at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. ROBERT W. McINTOSH, PhD, is Professor Emeritus at Michigan State University. A pioneer in the study of tourism, Dr. McIntosh founded the first university tourism department in the United States.
