I Explore is an eight-level series of textbooks in science. As envisaged in the National Curriculum Framework (2005) guidelines, these books have been designed to present science as a living body of knowledge where students are encouraged and guided to make exploratory forays of their own. Book 8 conforms strictly to latest NCERT syllabus specifications for science at the middle school level. Care has been taken to inculcate scientific aptitude in students through a variety of exercises and activities and to enhance their investigative and analytical ability. Tasks and exercises have been incorporated to facilitate Continuous and Comprehensive Assessment (CIE).
