Sinossi
Quando una tempesta si abbatte sul paese, Asa si sveglia il giorno dopo e scopre che la sua città è quasi irriconoscibile: alberi caduti, tetti crollati e detriti ovunque. Ma tra i detriti nel suo giardino sul retro, Asa fa una scoperta sbalorditiva: il corpo di una piccola creatura alata. Una creatura che assomiglia molto a una fata. Le fate esistono davvero? Asa intraprende una missione per scoprirlo. Una missione che lo porta ai diari perduti dell'eccentrico locale Benjamin Tooth che, duecento anni prima, sosteneva di aver scoperto l'esistenza delle fate. Ciò che Asa legge in quei diari lo porta in un viaggio segreto a Windvale Moor, dove scopre molto di più di quanto avesse sperato.
