It faithfully reproduces Johnson's monumental work in its entirety, presenting it in a format that closely mimics the original publication. VERY GOOD+ in a VERY GOOD slip case which has very light wear. It includes both the reproduction of *The Plan of the Dictionary,* which was originally printed in 1747 and also supplementary essays on the genesis and lexicographic achievement of Johnson's Dictionary by Dr. J.
