They are, after all, unreconstructed Sixties hippies, and their main income derives from the songs they wrote back then for their cult, psychedelic, soft rock band Charisma. So with the money from the house their intention is… blowing it!

Judy Astley is the author of thirteen novels. She was a dress designer and painter before writing her first novel Just for the Summer, published in 1994. She lives with her husband, and has two grown-up daughters.
