The Cancer moon placement card, for example, offers language to prompt supportive conversations with a sensitive child:
• Do: Praise my vulnerability and transparency. Breathe slowly and deeply with me when I get emotional. Make time for one-on-one connection with me.
• Don’t: Rush me through sensitive conversations. Allow me to hijack the day with my emotions. Retaliate when I express my valid anger.
The seventy-two placement cards are enhanced by eight “connection cards,” featuring activities, discussion prompts, and healing exercises meant to deepen family bonds, enhance parent-child relationships, and provide valuable social and emotional skills for the whole family.
