As the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who gave his life in the name of peace, and to whom this writing is dedicated, articulated so clearly during the signing of the Oslo Accords, "enough blood and tears."Finally, Deeb argues that the intent behind the Oslo Accords encompass the link between the end of war and the era of peace, that the Israelis and Palestinians should both return to the table for negotiations based upon the recommendations of "The Mitchell Report" and the Quartet Road Map To Peace to negotiate a final and lasting settlement rooted in the Oslo Peace Accords.

Dennis ?D.J.? Deeb II is a resident of Dracut, Massachusetts, where he has served as an elected official since 1997. He has been a History/Humanities teacher at Reading Memorial High School in Reading, Massachusetts since 2001. He also works as an adjunct History/Government instructor at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
