Riassunto

It's MY Wedding! presents 101 hilarious, heartbreaking, theatrical, and sometimes unbelievable testimonials from real women (and a few men!) who have gone through the wedding planning process, from engagement to the big day. Following each anecdote, the authors present sane, human and helpful advice for prospective brides and grooms with the goal of reminding readers about the one thing that is truly important during the wedding process love! It's MY Wedding is a perfect gift for engaged couples, prospective brides, their friends, family and members of the bridal party. Universal in its appeal, the book is unique in the wedding advice category. Instead of quizzes, planning tips and advice, budgeting secrets, wedding etiquette, wedding toasts or wedding vows, the authors present readers with the same straightforward, girlfriend-to-girlfriend advice that they offered each other when they used to trade war stories about their upcoming nuptials. Nicknamed The Bathroom Book For Brides, the book is not only entertaining and insightful, but easy to pick up and put down-ideal during the often hectic wedding planning period! Please visit our website at www.ItsMyWeddingSite.com

L'autore

Jean RamsdenOrchestrating her own international wedding that included guests from 9 months to 90 years who hailed from seven different countries, was right up Jean?s alley. Having produced international media for all ages, Jean is well versed in delivering projects on time, within budget and under pressure, as well as in dealing with devilish details and diva-like attitudes. Her first taste of event planning came as Events Chair and President of Kappa Delta, her university sorority. Jean holds a B.S. from Cornell and a Masters from Harvard. She is currently an entertainment consultant and freelance writer, and resides with her husband and daughter in Los Angeles, California.Corinne WeldonBefore getting married, Corinne was a member of over a dozen wedding parties. When it came time to plan her own wedding (at the ripe ?old? age of 37!), she thought it would be a breeze, as she has tons of experience dealing with people?s behavior and organizations. As President of the Coral Gables, Florida Junior Chamber, Corinne managed several hundred volunteers and planned charity events. She has worked in human resources for over twenty years where she has admittedly, ?seen it all.? She holds a B.S. from the University of Phoenix. Corinne resides with her husband and son in Los Angeles, California. Please visit our website at www.ItsMyWeddingSite.com
