Sinossi

The second novel by Johnnie Griffin weaves modern day characters into the ancient Biblical narrative about Jacob, Leah, and Rachel. But, Jacob Still Loved Rachel is the bomb according to Lorenzo Davis.Sue wanted to please Ray. To keep Ray. To make Ray happy. If having a baby kept him and made him happy, then that is what Sue would do. Ray was her life. And she would do what she deemed necessary to keep her life.Leah questioned why she did not have Jacob's love when she brought children into the world for him, through so much pain and discomfort.Sue seeks the wisdom of her grandmother as they speak candidly about sex and love. Her grandmother uses passages from the Biblical narrative about Jacob, Leah, and Rachel to guide their discussions.
