This dimension of survivor education is a central focus of this book. While it largely concentrates on individual culpability, the societal context is also emphasized. Indeed, threats to our welfare often come from institutional or corporate activities that are beyond our control.

L'autore

Felix M. Berardo, Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the University of Florida, Gainesville, is the author of several books and over a hundred articles on the social aspects of Family, Aging, and Death and Survivorship. His latest book is Reflections of an Aspiring Curmudgeon published in 2005 by iUniverse.He is a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America, The National Council on Family Relations and a member of other professional societies, in which he serves in several capacities. He is the Deputy Editor of the Journal of Family Issues.Dr. Berardo and his wife Dr. Donna H. Berardo live in Gainesville, Florida.
