In this second installment of the Trilogy of Love series, Alfonso Moret continues his compelling look at the different faces of love in Hearts in Adversity, three short stories filled with intrigue, excitement, and romance.

As the couple gathers evidence, they also ignite a deadly trilogy of romance, jealousy, and passion that only grows worse when they discover Cuban mobsters and Russian gangsters are involved in the thefts.
"The Enchantment" reveals how three recovering drug-addicts seek redemption from their immature, moral and emotional lives through witchcraft in Baja Mexico with three enticing witches and their mysterious healing secrets. On the road from Cabo San Lucas, the friends rely on the memory of their loves─lost, present and in limbo─to find answers and remedies to their healing process.

L'autore
Alfonso Moret was born and raised in East Los Angeles. A Vietnam veteran and a graduate of Pacific Oaks College, he is a certified counselor and operated a drug-treatment facility in Los Angeles.
