Excerpt from Normal Herald, Vol. 21
To prevent the collection from becoming dull, a few fresh books are added from time to time. The plan so far has worked success fully. It is interesting to note the number of students who acquire a keener appreciation of the fine and true in literature, instead of the weaker, more highly colored element.
Besides this, the library reference department is extensively used. The tables are all occupied during the day by reference workers. As the winter term comes nearer, we feel sure that the new red star books, together with the new bound volumes of maga zines, will be used more than ever before. The library force hope that each new term will better fit the library for a place of greater efficiency in the student life of the Normal School.
