RISPBA MCCRAY-GARRISON, mother of two, is a children's author, musician, and physician from League City, Texas. Her inspiration for Sylvander Finds a Gift of True Happiness came from the memories of her experiences of being a foreign exchange student in France, Russia and Australia. The beauty of the culture and the people she interacted with molded the theme of the story. Her love for children motivates her to write more books and create educational children's programs.
