JG (Kobus) Maree is an education professor at the University of Pretoria and editor of the South African Journal of Psychology. He is internationally acknowledged for his work in career counseling and was recently awarded the Stals Prize for Psychology. He is also the recipient of the 2010 Chancellor’s Award for Teaching and Learning and the 2011–2013 Exceptional Academic Achiever Awards.
