It is 1958, and the icy wastes of northern Greenland are in the front line of the cold war when a B-52 bomber goes missing. Over 40 years later a routine flight to Canada vanishes without warning or explanation and Detective Sergeant Tomas Larsen is gradually led into a complex web of plotting, betrayal and murder.
