Sinossi
In the middle of the Indian Ocean, a NUMA research vessel is taking water samples at sunset, when a crew member spots a sheen of black oil ahead of them. But it is not oil. Like a horde of army ants, a swarm of black particles suddenly attacks the ship, killing everyone aboard, while the ship itself goes up in flames.
A few hours later, Kurt Austin and Joe Zavala are on their way to the Indian Ocean. What they will find there on the smoldering hulk of the ship will eventually lead them to the discovery of the most audacious scheme they have ever known: a plan to permanently alter the weather on a global scale. Clive Cussler is the author or co-author of a great number of international bestsellers, including the famous Dirk Pitt® adventures, such as Havana Storm; the NUMA® Files adventures, most recently The Pharaoh's Secret; the Oregon Files, such as The Emperor's Revenge; the Isaac Bell historical thrillers, which began with The Chase; and the recent Fargo Adventures which lastly included The Solomon Curse. He lives in Arizona.
Graham Brown, a former pilot and lawyer and later part of a start-up healthcare firm, decided he hadn't had enough different careers yet and decided to become a writer.
A huge fan of Clive Cussler, Michael Crichton, Stephen King and television shows like the X-files and Lost, Graham's first novel Black Rain debuted in January 2010. He has now co-written six NUMA Files novels with Clive Cussler: Devil's Gate, The Storm, Zero Hour, Ghost Ship,The Pharaoh's Secret, and Nighthawk.
