Product Description
Doris Ruscoe came to the Bible College of Wales in 1932. 'I was earnestly seeking to meet God in a new way,' she wrote. 'The answer came to me through Rees Howells.' In this book, Ruscoe provides an explanation of the Scriptural and applied principle of Rees Howells' mission, providing the key to his life's work. In the opening chapters the author explains how she met Rees Howells, and the profound effect he had on her spiritual guidance. She describes how he 'met' with God and came to understand the need for and importance of intercession. The author then introduces detailed notes taken at the time of Rees Howells' Bible readings and his personal commentaries concerning them. These passages, often quoting Howells verbatim, illuminate his ideas, and bring his teaching to life. The combination of explanation, analysis and transcripts of the teaching of this influential man ensures that this book is one of the most important documents about Rees Howells. This edition contains a foreword by Norman Grubb, author of Rees Howells, Intercessor also published by The Lutterworth Press, and a preface by Rees Howells' son, Samuel Rees Howells, Director of the Bible College of Wales.
