These books aim to offer a programmed source of learning for adults wishing to return to serious study and proceed into the higher education system. Based upon Manchester University's access course, "New Horizons", they aim to help mature students to acquire and refresh their study skills, discover their potential as students and develop confidence and belief in their own abilities.
