About the Author: Author Lee Frances Brown serves as a member of the Bergen County Historic Advisory Board, is a trustee of the Bergen County Historical Society, and was a charter member of the Rutherford Historic Commission. Brown graduated with summa cum laude honors from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta International History Honor Society. In the past, Brown was an executive administrative assistant for the New York Yankees.
