Eine Klavierschule aus Amerika: Umfassend und gut durchdacht. Unterrichtsheft, Theorieheft, Hausaufgabenheft und Vorspielheft für jede Stufe gehören zusammen. In diesem Hausaufgabenheft "At Home 1A" finden sich im ersten Teil Hausaufgabenblätter, in denen der Lehrer eintragen kann, welche Seiten der zusammengehörigen Bücher neu geübt und welche wiederholt werden sollen und worauf der Schüler dabei achten soll; die Übungszeiten können eingetragen werden und es gibt Platz für Hinweise des Lehrers an die Eltern wie auch umgekehrt. Im zweiten Teil beginnt eine abenteuerliche Geschichte: P(aul) J(oseph) und Sara, zwei Geschwister, lernen beim Klavierunterricht einen Professor kennen, der eine fantastische Maschine entwickelt hat: Wenn man ein Musikstück spielt, transportiert die Maschine Spieler und Zuhörer durch Raum und Zeit. Die Kinder erleben eine erste abenteuerliche Reise. Aber die Geschichte endet offen - sie wird im nächsten Heft fortgesetzt. Wer darauf gespannt ist, wird fleißig üben, um endlich zum nächsten Heft fortzuschreiten! Der dritte Teil enthält Hinweise für die Eltern: Allgemein zu den Zielen des Buches, dem Aufbau, dem Üben, Erwartungen an den Lehrer und die Eltern und wie die Eltern ihr Kind beim Klavierspielenlernen unterstützen können. Zuletzt ist für jede Seite des Unterrichtsbuches aufgelistet, worauf zu achten ist und welche Übungen die Eltern gemeinsam mit dem Kind durchführen können.
