Paul Gilligan has an extensive background in both humor and art. He studied illustration and animation at Sheridan College in Toronto and comedy writing at the National Film Institute. He's worked for an ad agency and as an editorial illustrator for the Ottawa Citizen, and he has won awards for his illustration and design. His clients have included Entertainment Weekly, the Wall Street Journal, Time, Wired, Disney magazine, NFL Properties, and Bon Appetit.

Paul Gilligan studied illustration and animation at Sheridan College in Toronto and comedy writing at the National Film Institute. He has won awards for both illustration and design as a freelance illustrator for a diverse array of publications such asEntertainment Weekly, the Wall Street Journal, Men's Fitness, Disney Magazine, NFL Properties, andBon Appetit, among others.
