Regena (derived from "queen" in Latin) Thomashauer has spent her lifetime ascending to her rightful place on a throne that she envisioned and her husband constructed for her. The author of Mama Gena's School of Womanly Arts, she has appeared on the Today show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and numerous other programs. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and daughter.
