Sinossi

While there is an abundance of books about the techniques of ELT, until the arrival of the first edition of this book in 2002 there had been very little published on how to develop a career in ELT. An increasingly popular career choice for many students (whether as part of a gap year or immediately post-university) what was originally seen as a means of travelling and ""avoiding the real world"" has become a structured career path of choice for many. Illustrated with case studies throughout, the book will show readers how to enter, progress and move between different ELT pathways. Fully updated to include details of all of the various qualifications on offer, this book will help readers to assess the institutions that provide and accredit the wide variety of qualifications available.
