Timothy Van Bender, Yale graduate and successful hedge fund manager in Palo Alto, has it easy. He has a beautiful wife, Catherine, and a million dollar business that practically runs itself. The Yen has shot up, against all predictions, and Timothy has just lost $24 million. Timothy's answer to this setback? Double the bet. He always wins after all, so what's the worry?
