James Pyles, A+, Network+, and CCNA, is a technical writer and freelance consultant who has participated in numerous Ethernet rollouts, workstation upgrades and installations, operating system upgrades, network equipment installations and upgrades, and help desk support functions. He has also supported a usability lab for a major hardware manufacturer as well as worked as a consultant for a wireless network provider in his community. He has written online courses and contributed to several books on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and networking hardware, protocols, and security. James currently is on staff as a technical writer for EmergeCore Networks in Boise, Idaho. James has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Computer Network Support, and a Masters in Counseling.
