This collection presents papers from the International Contest on LTPP Data Analysis 1998-1999. This competition involved university students in the analysis of data in the LTPP database and was sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration Long-Term Performance Program and the Highway Division Pavements Committee of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Topics include the effect of locked-in curvature on PCC pavement, evaluation of a pavement performance prediction model using LTPP data, a neural network approach to prediction of pavement performance, and effectiveness of preventative maintenance strategies for AC pavements based on LTPP distress data.
