Kaliym A. Islam is the director of learning product development and technology services for the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation. He received his Six Sigma Black Belt from Motorola and is an advocate for positioning learning organizations as business units in order to enhance their credibility and value to organizations. Kaliym is vice-president of MetroSet, a consortium dedicated to technology education and a member of the advisory board of the Chief Learning Officer Institute.
Kaliym is a featured contributing writer to LTI NewsLine and has published a number of articles. He has been a keynote presenter on the subject of the application of business approaches to training development at a number of industry conferences. A former educator in the New York City public schools, Kaliym has been the recipient of the Gift of Time Award, as well as the Horace E. Green Award.
