Beatrix Potter (1866–1943) was an English writer, illustrator, conservationist, and natural scientist. Born in London, she spent her life in the United Kingdom and is best known for her stories and illustrations about animals, especially the mischievous Peter Rabbit.

Lisa McCue is one of today’s most sought after illustrators. Over the past 30 years, she has illustrated more than 175 books for children. Lisa’s art work also appears on fabrics, greeting cards, gift tins, wrapping papers, home decor and clothing.
