Unclipped dustjacket is moderately rubbed at the extremities, with several small tears and creases; protected in archival mylar. Previous owner's name on front endpaper, with ink notations on endpaper and a few tiny notations on eight pages of text. A few pages with minor creasing to top edge due to a shelfbump. These lectures were delivered in China, and heretofore had only been available in the Chinese newspapers from the time. Dewey had intended to publish the lectures in English, but his notes were lost.
