Fyodor Dostoevsky (18211881) was a prominent Russian novelist and writer and is widely considered one of the most outstanding and influential writers of modern literature. His books include Notes from Underground, Crime and Punishment, and The Brothers Karamazov. Boris Jakim is the foremost translator of Russian religious thought into English.
