Clifford P. Westermeier (1910–87) was a noted historian and painter of the West. Bill Crawford is a former editor of Prorodeo Sports News, the official publication of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Kristine Fredriksson is a rodeo authority who traces the developments on the rodeo scene and books on the subject from 1945 to 1986.

Sewn binding in full cloth-covered boards, in dustjacket. A nice copy with tight binding, intact hinges and square spine. Neat name in red ink on front flyleaf. A little wear to cloth at crown of spine. Both spine-ends creased. Sunning to spine and top edge. A little of the color leached out bottom edge, and darkening at the front gutter. Considerable sun-browning to endpapers. Unclipped dustjacket ($3.00 net) very nice, with a little fading at the spine and tanning to back panel; some wear to spine-ends but no major faults.
