Sinossi

Unplanned teenage pregnancy is one of the most challenging problems facing society today. To meet this challenge, a number of programmes designed to prevent unplanned pregnancies among adolescents have been launched. But which ones are the most successful?

In this volume, researchers, evaluators and programme directors collectively examine the best designed and most extensively evaluated adolescent pregnancy prevention programmes. These cover education, contraception and other approaches, and encompass a variety of school, medical and community settings.
