Janet K. Ruffing, RSM, is professor in the practice of spirituality and ministerial leadership at Yale Divinity School in New Haven, CT. She has a PhD in Christian spirituality and has trained and supervised spiritual directors for 25 years at Mercy Center in Burlingame, CA, and at Fordham University. She is the author of more than a dozen articles on spiritual direction and supervision. She has presented many workshops for spiritual directors throughout the world.
