Sinossi

The album covers collected in this volume reveal the stylistically influential cover art by Reid Miles for the legendary jazz label, Blue Note. With over 380 colour photographs, Blue Note captures the heart and soul of this musical genre while showcasing an impressive array of artists and performers, including Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Thelonius Monk, Sonny Rollins, and Art Blakey. Incorporating the best album covers from Chronicle's Blue Note and Blue Note II, and a few not seen in either, Blue Note: Album Cover Art is the most complete collection yet. Old timers and young jazz enthusiasts, as well as design buffs, will enjoy this exciting book of jazz memorabilia, accompanied by a concise history of the Blue Note record company.
