Papers presented here were written by participants in the Short Program on Riemannian Geometry, held in the summer of 2004 in Montreal, Canada, as part of the general scientific program of the Center for Mathematical Research in Montreal. The ten papers provide a survey the latest developments in Riemannian geometry, special geometrical structures on manifolds, and their interactions with other fields such as mathematical physics, complex analysis, and algebraic geometry.
