Full brown morocco with "1916" in gilt to front. GIlt title to spine. Tan endpapersBlue-green slipcase with red title on white paste-on panel. Light rubbing to slipjacket with just a hint of sunning to dustjacket edges. The Proclamation was first set up and printed at Liberty Hall, Dublin, on Easter Sunday, 23 April 1916. The compositor was Liam O Brian and 1500 broadside copies were printed by Christopher Brady. This booklet, designed by Liam Miller, has been set by hand in Victor Hammer's uncial type and printed at the Dolmen Press by Garrett Doyle, under the supervision of Liam Browne. The frontispiece is based on the bronze statue of 'The Death of Cuchulain' by Oliver Sheppard which commemorates the 1916 Rising in the General Post Office, Dublin.
