Jinlian Hu is Professor in the Institute of Textiles and Clothing at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is the author of "Computer technology for textiles and apparel", "Fabric testing", "Shape memory polymers and textiles" and "Structure and mechanics of woven fabrics", all published by Woodhead. In 2001, Professor Hu received the Distinguished Achievements Award from the Fiber Society.
