Slim novella set in the days of colonialism in Jamaica. Navy cloth, stamped gilt titling on spine. No stains, no marks. Small dent along top edge. End pages have residue from tape affixed to a removed old jacket cover. Binding is tight, pages are clean. Jacket has provocative painting extending front to rear, no credit given. On the front free end-page has dedicated the book "To Marie-Rose ______, with Love from Terry (Parris). " Included with the book is a personal note from Parris to the dedicatee.
