L'autore

Paul Cook CEng FIEE was the Principal Engineer in the Technical Regulations department of the IEE. For many years he was closely involved in the preparation of the IEE Wiring Regulations BS 7671 and related publications. He was wide experience of electrical contracting in various roles from design engineer to business manager.

Product Description

Apprentices and trainees will find this guide very helpful in carrying out the calculations necessary for a basic installation. It has also been prepared to provide a design sequence, calculations and data for a complete design to be carried out. It is intended to include all necessary cable and equipment data to carry out the calculations. Consultants will be able to check the calculations of their design packages. Examples of calculations included are those such as cable conductor and sheath temperatures and allowances for harmonics.
